To make sure everything runs smoothly—from your first enquiry to the moment you slice into your cake—here are the key details about ordering, payments, cancellations, and cake care. It’s all here to help set clear expectations and give you peace of mind.

By placing an order with Sugar Rose Cakes, you agree to the following terms and conditions. These are here to ensure everything runs smoothly and both sides are clear from the start.
Orders & Booking
A cake is only confirmed once a deposit has been received and a confirmation message or email has been sent.
Bookings are taken on a first-come, first-served basis and subject to availability.
Please book at least 2–3 weeks in advance where possible to secure your date.
Deposits & Payments
A 50% non-refundable deposit is required to confirm your booking.
The remaining balance is due no later than 7 days before collection or delivery.
Orders placed less than 7 days before the event must be paid in full upfront.
Cancellations & Refunds
If you cancel your order more than 7 days before the event, your deposit will be retained, but any additional payments may be refunded.
Cancellations within 7 days of the event are non-refundable, as ingredients and decorations will already have been purchased or prepared.
In the unlikely event that I am unable to complete your order due to illness or emergency, you will receive a full refund, and I will do my best to help you find an alternative baker.
Design & Changes
I aim to match your requested design as closely as possible, but small variations may occur due to the handmade nature of my cakes.
Minor design changes can usually be made up to 7 days before the event—just get in touch and I’ll do my best to help!
Allergens & Dietary Requirements
Unfortunately we don’t currently offer allergy- free cakes as all cakes are made in a kitchen where allergens are present.
It is your responsibility to inform guests of any allergens.
Collection & Delivery
You’ll be given a time for cake collection—please arrive on time to avoid disruption to other orders.
If you’re collecting, please make sure the cake travels on a flat surface in your vehicle (like the boot or footwell), and keep it cool.
Delivery is available for some cakes —please ask for details when booking. A fee will apply depending on location.
Cake Care
Once collected or delivered, Sugar Rose Cakes is not responsible for any damage caused by improper handling or storage.
Care instructions will be provided and should be followed to ensure your cake stays in perfect condition.
